Foxglove Farm is a one hundred and twenty-acre organic farm on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. The farm is one of the original homesteads on the island, surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected forest and agricultural fields, bordering Maxwell Lake.

We produce strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, asparagus, melons, greens, roots, a wide range of annual Mediterranean vegetables, as well as orchards of diverse varieties of peach, plum, apple, pear, quince, persimmon, fig, chestnut, and cherry. We also manage a small flock of laying hens, pastured pigs, and extensive fields of grains, legumes, and hay and pasture.

Foxglove Farm offers self-contained accommodations for personal and family retreats. These include the beautifully restored original turn of the century log home, a classic farm style cottage, and a cozy sleeping cabin.

The farm inspires community, gathering, eating, working and playing together while immersed in a beautiful village like atmosphere that features bounty, history, and wildness.

We invite you to come visit, work with us, share a meal together, participate in a program, and stay on the farm.

An Evening of Food, Music, and Film.

Join Lazare Music artists Phöenix LazareAtom Lazare and Hownd (Justin Kelley) and farmers Michael Ableman and Jeanne-Marie Herman at the beautiful Foxglove Farm and the Centre for Arts, Ecology, and Agriculture for an intimate evening of food, music and film. 

Music – Salt Spring Island natives and siblings Phöenix Lazare and Atom Lazare share the stage with artist Hownd, showcasing their musical growth and songwriting depth after all three attending Berklee College of Music. 

Film – Join us in watching Mark Kitchell’s warm, funny, and engaging documentary Evolution of Organic about the origins of the organic farming movement.

Food – Artisan pizzas will be made in our wood-fired pizza oven. Farm salads and pear/apple cider will also be available. Food will be available for sale all evening.
